About Gnótt
Gnótt is a small, personal community server. It's for people who enjoy movies, series, games and tech – but prefer spaces that feel calm instead of chaotic.
The goal isn't to be huge or “busy”. The goal is to be a place where it's easy to drop in, say hi, watch something, play together or just quietly read chat without feeling like you're behind.
What we care about
- Simple, understandable channels and roles.
- Kindness and respect as a baseline, not a bonus.
- Space for both social people and quiet introverts.
- Keeping things welcoming instead of overwhelming.
Game servers & shared stuff
Gnótt can host game servers for people in the community. If you and your friends want a place to play together, we can look at spinning up a server and keeping it stable for you.
There's also a private media setup for movies and series shared inside the community – nothing public, just for the people who are here.
Docs & technical side
Some of the infrastructure, projects and services behind Gnótt are documented at docs.gnott.com. It's mainly for people who enjoy the technical side of things – self-hosting, services, and how everything is put together.
